Midwives Insurance Campaigning for the reinstatement of insurance for SCMs. This involved various press releases and interviews in the media, sending a petition to the Minister of Health, supporting   AIMSI and the Community Midwives Association in their efforts.

Raising awareness
The HBA regularly represent the voice of homebirth at public meetings and conferences. We regularly take a stall at the following conferences:
National Midwifery conference
La Leche League of Ireland
Attachment Parenting Conference
Big into Baby show
Mind Body Spirit Show
Rude Health Show
Baby wearing conference

We also attend where possible, the Cuidu Natural Childbirth Conference.
